## Email

You will receive emails from Harvard throughout the summer to let you know which action items you need to complete before arriving and to introduce you to resources that will be helpful throughout your time on campus.

 ### Harvard Email Account

Set up your [HarvardKey and email](https://huit.harvard.edu/students) as soon as possible. We will contact you through your new email over the summer and recommend checking it regularly so you don’t miss important reminders. If you have any issues, [Harvard University IT](https://huit.harvard.edu/) is available to help you.

 ### Class Email List

You will automatically be subscribed to your Class email list. You are responsible for reading all messages sent to your Harvard email account and completing items on the [Incoming Student Checklist](/timeline) on time.

 ### Unsubscribing

You retain control over your email account and may unsubscribe from the Class list at any time. If you unsubscribe your Harvard email, we recommend that you subscribe with another email account to stay informed of important information – it is your responsibility to complete all action items before you arrive. Your Resident Dean may also reach out to you if you unsubscribe.
