# Addison Neva Executive Director of Administration ![Addison Neva headshot](/sites/g/files/omnuum7076/files/styles/hwp_4_5__480x600/public/dso/files/syp_1961-2.jpg?itok=V4E7vTs_) email As Executive Director for Administration of the Dean of Students Office, I strive to lead our understanding and integration of people, processes, policies, and procedures to uphold our mission of an inclusive residential and social community where all students can feel welcome and supported. In turn, this integration also furthers the DSO’s goals of stewarding the College’s resources and creating structures that empower, develop, and celebrate our amazing staff members. After earning my Bachelor’s degree in Accounting at University of Detroit Mercy, Master’s degree in Higher Education Administration at New York University, and CPA license, I established my career in the Internal Audit profession within the major label music industry, the retail/wholesale grocery business, and academic healthcare, but always kept my eyes open for a chance to return to my roots in higher education. That opportunity came in 2018 as the fiscal and HR officer for the Student Affairs Division at Dartmouth College. I am thrilled to build on this experience and work alongside my DSO colleagues at Harvard.
