I am excited to serve as a first-year proctor. Before becoming an educational leadership doctoral student at Harvard Graduate School of Education, I served as a district, charter, and school leader in New Orleans where I lived for ten years. I started my career off in education in Gwinnett County, Georgia, teaching fourth grade. I earned my bachelor's degree in child development from Spelman College, and my master's degree in curriculum and teaching from Teachers College, Columbia University. I am a proud member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated, and The Links, Incorporated. In my spare time I can be found fanatically riding my Peloton or traveling to new places. Hopewell Junction, New York, is where I was born and raised and where my family still lives.
