Congratulations and welcome to Harvard, Class of 2029! I'm Amanda, and I’m super excited to meet all of you! Originally from the Hudson Valley area of New York, I’ve spent the greater part of the last decade in Chile, where I worked as a bilingual early childhood educator, taught English to high school students, and supported Harvard students abroad in Chile (via the David Rockefeller Center for Latin American Studies!). Here on campus, I work at the Harvard Radcliffe Institute, where I support Harvard College students who serve as mentors for local high school students in the [Emerging Leaders Program](https://www.radcliffe.harvard.edu/opportunities-for-students/emerging-leaders-program-apply). Outside of Proctoring and work, you’ll find me hanging out with my partner, Vicente, our one-year-old daughter, Mila, and our dog, Pulguita (pronounced "pool-ghee-ta," which means “little flea” in Spanish). We love cooking, going for long walks, dancing, and finding treasures at thrift stores! As a bilingual family, you can catch us speaking English, Spanish, and a ton of Spanglish! Nos vemos!
