My role is to support you in your unique experience at Harvard, with the understanding that your personal, physical, mental, social, spiritual, etc. well-being is tied to your academic well-being. I am here to help you with any academic or personal issues; if I don't have the answer, I will make sure to guide you to someone who can help you. I'm a non-judgmental listener and confidant, and having had my fair share of life experiences, I am shocked at nothing. While I grew up in many places, including many cities in Southern California, Arizona, Las Vegas, and South Korea, I've now spent the longest period of my life in Boston. I come from an immigrant family and was a FGLI student at Williams College. After graduation, I spent a year working abroad in Chile, and then I completed my PhD in the Biological and Biomedical Sciences program here at Harvard studying the bacterium that causes tuberculosis. After deciding research was not for me, I started working as a TA for Ls1a, Ls1b, and GenEd 1004. I spent the three years as a preceptor for Ls1b and am now also a lecturer in MCB.
