Welcome and congratulations on your acceptance to Harvard! I was born and raised in Kea’au, Hawaii, but I’ve called Pompano Beach, Florida, and Los Angeles, California, home too. While in college at the University of Southern California (USC), I worked in residential education and summer programs at UC Berkeley, serving first-gen, low-income (FGLI) students like myself, interested in STEM. I received my Masters of Theological Studies from Harvard in 2020, and before that completed a Fulbright Fellowship in Salvador Bahia, Brazil training and teaching Capoeira (an Afro-Brazilian martial art). I currently lead community partnerships at Harvard Radcliffe Institute, and am excited to support you in having your most meaningful first-year possible!
