Donald Allen Sarra
As the Interim Executive Assistant to the Dean of Students, I provide operational and administrative support to Dean O'Dair. I also work closely with the Student and Family Engagement team in order to plan and implement large-scale events from Orientation to family weekends. I am very passionate about leveraging data and navigating complex systems to better design programs that improve the experiences of stakeholders and, most importantly, students!
I love the outdoors! From rock climbing and hiking along beautiful trails to sitting outside for brunch and shopping along Newbury Street, I really enjoy spending my free time outside.
I graduated from the Harvard Graduate School of Education with a Master of Education degree in 2021. Through my time at the Ed School, I studied complex higher education systems and problems. I was also part of the consulting team that explored the Comping process at the College. Before starting full-time at the DSO, I also served as the Graduate Assistant for Student Engagement for the 2020-21 academic year!
My expertise is in higher education policy, EdTech, and operations research. Specifically, I care a lot about leverage policy, technology, and data to improve the lives of college stakeholders and students. I love talking about all of these topics and anything related to improving our colleges and universities, so please feel free to reach out whenever!
