Hello, my name is Jarrett and I am a PhD student in anthropology studying the collateral impacts of imprisonment in Louisiana. I was born and raised in Gary, Indiana, but I have spent most of my adult life living in the New England and Mid-Atlantic regions of the US. After earning a BA in history at Yale where I played football (Boola Boola!) and did theater, I obtained an MS in Information Science from the University of Michigan and later worked as an archivist at Princeton. In my spare time, I enjoy everything outdoors, especially going for walks, riding my bicycle, and—most of all—kayaking. I look forward to meeting you and learning how I can best support you!
