I studied computer science and bioinformatics at Brigham Young University. After my graduation in 2009 I spent a year in Berlin, Germany studying and doing research. While in Germany, I went on an epic road trip from Berlin to Venice on which I set a new personal land speed record on the Autobahn. It was good that I got that out of my system, because my driving speeds have been somewhat restricted ever since coming to Boston to study medical engineering in the Health Sciences and Technology PhD program at MIT and Harvard. I graduated in 2017 and am currently a postdoc at the medical school studying genome editing. This will be my ninth year as a proctor, and my family and I are excited to welcome you to Grays Middle.
