Hello! My name is Luke Mendola. I’m from the great town of Ithaca, New York. In 2017 I graduated from Harvard with a degree in Government and African Studies. Since then, I've worked in the community development space in Nairobi, Kenya and Bend, Oregon focusing in education and pre-hospital emergency care. Along the way I've also enjoyed rock climbing, playing disc golf, hockey, kite-surfing, and teaching 5th grade. Additionally, for the last 10 years I've led a non-profit summer camp in the Adirondack Mountains. In 2022 I found my way back to campus as a member of the Harvard Pre-Medical Postbacc Program, emergency department clinical assistant and orthopedic surgery research coordinator at Boston Children's Hospital. I’m excited to be part of your first-year journey!
