I work closely with the Faculty Deans, Resident Dean, House Staff, Resident Tutors, House Aides, House Committee Chairs and Dining team to support the Cabot House community and coordinate many of the wonderful events and activities we offer throughout the year. Before joining Harvard, I was a teacher for many years in K-12 public and independent schools where I also led student-centered health & wellness programs. I completed a master’s degree at Harvard’s Graduate School of Education and then founded a charter school in Boston, and subsequently managed regulatory affairs for a charter school management company. I also conducted research at Harvard on distance learning. Prior to my work in education, I oversaw democratic development programs in the Middle East and Africa, including South Africa where I lived for several years following the inauguration of President Nelson Mandela, who I had the great fortune to meet! Outside of work, I am a chocolatier and I can often be found seeking out new culinary experiences, especially bakeries and pizzerias! I love to travel and explore the great outdoors – hiking, biking and playing tennis. I enjoy spending time with my family and friends and will always make time for card and board games and puzzles! I speak French and am a Francophile at heart.
