I earned my PhD in Near Eastern Languages and Civilizations from Harvard University and serve as a Preceptor in the Harvard College Writing Program, where I teach courses on oral traditions and mindfulness. I grew up in Karachi, Pakistan before coming to the U.S. as an international student, and I’ve served as a liaison between faculty, staff, and students in my roles as Student Representative and member of my program’s Diversity, Inclusion, and Belonging Committee. In my spare time, I enjoy reading, writing, and painting—and I love taking my Labradoodle, Leia, for walks along the Charles.
