I oversee the administrative side of residential life in Pforzheimer House, one of Harvard's 12 upper-level residence halls. My duties include managing the housing assignments and updates to the College housing database, StarRez, for the 400 students in residence, organizing several annual special dinners, producing a weekly House Newsletter, reserving classroom and common room spaces, implementing and maintaining an annual budget and processing payment for all House event and routine expenses, as well as coordinating with Pfoho's Faculty Deans, Resident Dean, Academic Coordinator, staff of resident tutors, Senior Common Room affiliates, dining hall staff, and Building Manager to keep the House running smoothly and provide a warm, welcoming, and ever evolving community for our students.
I like to be outside when I can, gardening or taking walks, especially by the ocean. I also enjoy cooking, swimming at Blodgett pool, and listening to a variety of music, from the Renaissance era to 80's ska and more. I'm also an avid tennis fan, watching and attempting to play.
I have been working at Harvard since 1981.
