It is very exciting to be back at the College and to work to ensure that we are doing all we can to give first-year students the strongest possible start. My earlier stint at Harvard included serving as a freshman proctor, assistant director of admissions, assistant and associate dean of the college, resident dean of Leverett House and Dudley House, and NCAA faculty athletics representative. When I am not on campus, I am volunteering for a conservation land trust on Cape Cod and, with my wife Nancy who is an architect in the Cambridge area, following the activities of our four energetic and spirited grandkids (ages 14 to 7). Please make a point to visit the FDO at 6 Prescott Street, and do say hello whenever our paths cross in the Yard.
