Assistant Dean of Harvard College
Lecturer on Sociology
As Resident Dean, I’m here to support your academic and personal well-being during your time at Harvard. I can help you think through issues, ideas, and questions that are important to you as you make decisions about your education during this opportune moment in your lives. Please feel free to come and talk to me about anything that is on your mind – for example, questions or concerns relating to your courses, health and wellness, relationships, future plans, College policies, your general experience here etc. In addition to thinking through things with you, I can help you connect with the tremendous people and resources in our community – at Cabot and across the College as a whole.
In addition to being a Resident Dean, I also serve as a Lecturer on Sociology. During the fall term, I teach a junior tutorial on Elite Education and Inequality (SOCIOL 98TA). In the spring, I teach a course on Education and Culture (SOCIOL 1135).
I received my Master in Education here at Harvard and previously worked in art museums in the U.S. and Canada specializing in art education and community development. I then returned to complete my Doctorate in Education at the Graduate School of Education, where I concentrated in culture, communities, and education.
