Congrats on your acceptance and WELCOME to Harvard! I’m Zesean (pronounced Zee-Shawn)! Born and raised in rainy Portland, Oregon, I developed a love for basketball (Go Blazers!), coffee, hip hop, and just having conversations. I got my B.A. in chemistry from a small liberal arts college called Reed and am now studying the intersection of religion, ethics, and politics at Harvard Divinity School. I care about social justice, race and equity, and how religion informs our political identities and policy preferences. I’m the vice president of the Muslim Student Association, a member of the Harvard Graduate Council, and have had internship experiences in politics, finance, and research. I am so excited to get to know you!
