Dear <<First Name>>,

Whether you are eagerly waiting to learn your House assignment or are getting ready to welcome new faces to your residential community, I'd like to share a few reminders as we all prepare for this week's Housing Day festivities.

Help-Seeking Policy

Look out for each other. If you or a classmate needs medical care because of alcohol or substance use, remember that the Help-Seeking Policy is in place for any student to get necessary support.

Help-Seeking Policy
  • All College policies and local laws will be enforced on Housing Day Eve (March 6) and Housing Day (March 7).

  • Securitas guards and HUPD will monitor the Yard and River area to ensure a safe and fun night for our community and to provide support if you need it.

  • Classes and midterms are still held on Housing Day: Be mindful of your classmates who may be studying for midterms or preparing for classes.

  • If you are feeling ill, please take appropriate precautions for yourself and others.

I look forward to seeing you during the festivities!

Sincerely,

Lauren Brandt
