in Annenberg on February 28

Sponsored by the First-Year Experience Office and Harvard University Dining Services. FIRST-YEARS, YOU ARE INVITED TO THE Spring FACULTY DINNER FEBRUARY 28 | 4:30 - 7:30 PM ANNENBERG DINING HALL Invite a professor, teaching fellow, preceptor, proctor, coach, adviser, or dean to an elegant dinner in Annenberg! NO RSVP NECESSARY

Dear <<First Name>>,

If you joined us in the fall for the first-year faculty dinner or didn’t get a chance to, the spring faculty dinner is right around the corner. Faculty dinners, where you can invite a professor, teaching fellow, preceptor, proctor, coach, adviser, dean or administrator are a great way to get to know faculty and staff better. You can also ask them about their academic work, career path, or tips for your time at Harvard.

It's up to you who you invite! Typical guests:

  • Professor

  • Teaching fellow

  • Preceptor

  • Proctor

  • Coach

  • Adviser

  • Dean

  • Administrator

  • Mentor

If you have questions, like how to invite a faculty member, refer to the Faculty Dinner page. Remember you can consult with your PAF or proctor as well.

Please consider who you would like to invite and begin inviting them this week. Starting on Monday, February 12th, we will have paper invitations in the front of Annenberg, where you swipe in, should you want to hand an invitation to someone. If you'd like to invite your guest in person, feel free to use one of our official invitations. If you do not want to invite a guest this semester, please try to arrive for dinner at 4:30pm or 7:00pm as it will be busiest in between.

I hope to see you there!

Sincerely,

Nekesa C. Straker
Senior Assistant Dean of Residential Life and First-Year Students
