This year, Ramadan will begin on Sunday, March 10, 2024 and end on Tuesday, April 9, 2024. Details of resources for Harvard College undergraduates observing Ramadan are below.
Muslim Chaplains: Communal Iftar Dinners
The Muslim Chaplains will be offering communal iftar dinners on Thursdays and Fridays hosted at the SOCH and open to all current Harvard affiliates participating in Ramadan. The dates for those dinners will be:
- March 21
- March 22
- March 28
- March 29
- April 4
- April 5
- April 9

HUDS: Dining Information
For Harvard College undergraduates and residential staff living in residence and participating in the board plan, HUDS will be providing a number of meal options in all College dining halls throughout Ramadan. During spring break, these options will be available via the three dining halls that will remain open.
In addition, each residential community has designated space for prayer during the dinner hour.
