Whether you're in the Yard, a House, or the Dudley Community, you have an extensive residential support system.

About your residential support system

Resident Deans oversee the academic and overall wellbeing of students, and you can contact your Resident Dean’s office to set up an appointment. First-year students can also turn to their Proctors and Peer Advising Fellows (PAFs), and upper-level students in the Houses and Dudley Community can turn to their Tutors. In the Houses, Faculty Deans are a further source of support and guidance. In addition, House Administrators are an important resource for any concerns related to housing, and Academic Coordinators are a key support for any questions about routine academic matters.

  • Support During Business Hours: The First-Year Experience Office, House Offices, and the Dudley Community Office are open during weekday business hours.
  • Support After Hours: If you are a Harvard College student and you have a concern after hours, you can reach out to your Proctor or Tutor.
    • In the case of an emergency or other urgent situation, you can contact the designated Proctor or Tutor on Call in your Yard, House, or Community in addition to 911 or HUPD (617-495-1212).
