In the spirit of continuous improvement, we strive to incorporate assessment into everything we do.
In the Dean of Students Office (DSO), one of our four goals is: Accountability to student development: create outcomes-based learning experiences grounded in developmental principles and continuously improved by assessment.
Each team is undertaking an assessment project this year to deepen and accelerate their work toward our DSO goals, especially:
- Accountability to student development
- Commitment to each other, and
- Commitment to professional development.

In the spring, we have an Assessment Showcase so that colleagues across the DSO can learn from and celebrate one another’s work.
