Dear Harvard College Students,

I am writing today to announce an exciting new position in the Dean of Students Office. I am pleased to introduce you to Dr. Craig Rodgers, our newly appointed Program Manager for Military Student Services at Harvard College. Craig will play a critical role in working with our ROTC cadets and midshipmen, veterans, and other students at the College who are interested in military service.

While this position is new, Craig certainly is not new to ROTC or to Harvard. Craig comes to this role with a wealth of experience. During his first year as an undergraduate at MIT, Craig enlisted in the U.S. Army Reserve, and he continued to serve as a reserve Soldier for the next ten years. Craig also matriculated in the Army ROTC program at MIT and received his officer's commission upon completing his undergraduate and graduate degrees there. In addition, for nearly twenty years at Harvard College, Craig provided broad-based academic support to our students as a Counselor at the Bureau of Study Counsel. Craig also founded and ran AAPEX (Athletic, Academic, & Personal Excellence), Harvard's former in-house sport psychology and peak performance program for varsity student-athletes.

Craig’s knowledge and expertise make him a valuable resource for all Harvard College students. You may contact Craig by email at crodgers@fas.harvard.edu.

Sincerely,

Lauren Brandt
Associate Dean of Students
