Alex Braslavsky

I’m really excited to meet you! My name is Alex, and I’m a sixth-year PhD student in Slavic Languages and Literatures. My research focuses on older women poets who write into their nineties. My family immigrated from Moscow, Russia to the Bay Area, California, where I grew up. I attended Columbia University for undergrad and studied for my Master’s at Oxford. I love salsa dancing, strength training, making smoothies, writing poems, and reading with my cat! Please feel free to reach out with any questions — I’m thrilled to be your summer proctor!
