Amanda Lobell
I serve as the Associate Dean of Students, overseeing residential life at the College. In this role, I support the House Deans and staff, housing office, residential programming and student support teams. I also act as the contact for the College to transportation, dining services and facilities management. Having called three different Houses home, I am excited to be a part of students’ Harvard experience!
I earned my AB, AM, and PhD degrees in Anthropology from Harvard, with research focused on the evolutionary genetics of humans and primates. I taught in the Human Evolutionary Biology department and was a postdoctoral fellow at the National Institutes of Health. Most recently, I served as the Allston Burr Resident Dean in Currier House. Originally from New York City, I enjoy baking, reading mystery novels, and watching my kids play baseball.
