Assistant Director of Student Programs
Miguel Tejada

I am the Assistant Director of Student Programs. In my role, I am responsible for three main areas, which include advising and supporting CEB (The College Events Board), Crimson After Dark, and serving as the director of the LIFE (Leadership Institute for the First-Year experience) Pre-Orientation Program.

My educational background consists of a bachelor’s degree from Westfield State University in Ethnic and Gender Studies and Spanish and my master’s degree is from the University of Massachusetts Amherst in School Counseling. I am currently working on my doctoral degree in higher education at the University of Massachusetts Amherst, where my focus is on men of color masculinity and their involvement experiences. Also, I most recently worked in the Student Engagement Office as the advisor for the Cultural and Religious and Spiritual Councils.

Much of my spare time is spent hanging with family, watching movies, and keeping up with my favorite sports teams (Yankees, Bears, Bulls!) and all other sports!
