I am here to advise Pforzheimer House students, to help them navigate whatever academic, residential or personal issues they may be facing and to help them get the most out of their Harvard experience. I am also Pfoho's representative to the Administrative Board, which considers petitions for academic exceptions and handles disciplinary issues.

My academic interests range from Acadian and Franco-American literature to gender studies, cultural studies and student development theory. My personal interests include gardening, learning to play the guitar, experimenting with fermentation (pickles, kombucha, sourdough bread, etc), and spending time with family and friends. My wife Julia and I enjoy spending time outside (hiking, camping, snowshoeing), going to concerts/plays and collaborating on recipes and DIY projects of various kinds.

Even if you aren’t sure whether the Resident Dean’s office is the right place to come with your concern or question, please get in touch with Tara (Pfoho's Academic Coordinator) or me! We can help connect you with all of the many resources that are here for you at Harvard College, and I'm happy to talk privately about any issue.

I take she/they pronouns.
