As the Dunster House Administrator I manage all aspects of student housing as well as House events and finances for our community of approximately 400 undergraduates. I work closely with the House staff, Resident Tutors, House Aides, House Committee Chairs, and Grille Managers to support the Dunster House community and coordinate many of the wonderful activities we offer throughout the year. I also serve as a sophomore academic adviser here in the House.
From 2008 to 2011 I worked in the Harvard Dean of Student's Office as Program Coordinator and Executive Assistant to the Dean of Students, organizing HoCo Retreats, Tutor-Proctor Orientation, First-Year and Junior Family Weekends, and other College Programming. I then completed a Master's degree at the Graduate School of Education in 2012, and began my current role in Dunster that same year.
Outside of work I take art classes in Arlington, and also love spending time at home with my husband, who teaches English and special education, and our dog-like cat Clove. Traveling has also been a passion of mine and I've been fortunate enough to have visited over 30 countries. Some of my favorite memories are playing with tigers in Thailand, swimming with manta rays in the Pacific Ocean, traversing glaciers in Iceland, and teaching English in Costa Rica. I always enjoy hearing about other's travels and adventures, so don't hesitate to share!
