Hi, I’m Amy! I’ve spent my career to date in education and entrepreneurship. I love both teaching and learning and am having the time of my life as a grad student at the Kennedy School. I’ve worked primarily in and around start-ups – first at a non-profit launched to support first-gen college students, then as a founding teacher at a New Orleans high school in the years following Hurricane Katrina, next as a facilitator of social entrepreneurship in South Africa, and now as an advisor of early-stage ventures. I started my own company 10 years ago—TrueSchool—with a focus on elevating student, family, and teacher voice. I speak Spanish well and am still learning Portuguese. I’m an Echoing Green Fellow and Unreasonable Fellow. I love live music (especially JazzFest!) and my dog Frankie, who will be so happy to meet you in the Yard.
