Jeita Deng

Welcome first-years!! I can’t wait to get to know you all, but until then here is a little about me: I was born and raised in Cambridge, MA, and later went on to attend boarding school and undergrad (Amherst College) all in MA; I'm pretty much a Massachusetts girl through and through. As a result, I'm a fan of all things New England, namely the beach, running along the Charles, hiking, apple picking, skiing and the Boston Ballet. When I’m not enjoying the wonders of New England or relishing in a culinary adventure I serve as Associate Dean and Chief Financial Officer at Harvard’s Kennedy School of Government. I live in Hurlbut’s basement with my husband, Donald, our son, Aiken, and our adorable dog, Sasha. This is my eleventh year as a proctor, and I am certain that it will be the best because of all of you!
