Welcome Class of 2030! My name is Lauren and I’m from Olney, Maryland. After graduating from Swarthmore College in 2015, I lived in Chicago for six years, where I worked for the Chicago (Red) Stars and later, College Admissions at UChicago. I returned to the east coast to pursue a master’s degree in education at Harvard Graduate School of Education, and after graduating in 2022, I worked in the Admissions Office for three years. Now, I am back to being a student at HGSE, pursuing a PhD in Education, concentrating in Culture, Institutions, and Society. In my free time, I love watching theater, dance, films (particularly at the Brattle), and women’ soccer and basketball. I also enjoy running, puzzling, and reading queer YA novels.
