Reisha Williams

Program Officer for Title IX and Sexual Misconduct

As a Title IX Resource Coordinator with the College Title IX (C-TIX) Office, my work centers on harm prevention and supporting students navigating sexual harassment and other forms of sexual misconduct. While I meet with students to discuss difficult experiences, a central part of my role is shaping environments that help prevent harm before it occurs.

Prevention is not just about responding to misconduct. It’s about building a culture where students know how to care for one another - and what to do when harm occurs. Effective prevention goes beyond intolerance of harm and focuses on shared responsibility, skill-building, and community accountability. The most effective approaches are context-specific, tailored to the needs of a space, and developed collaboratively with students, staff, and campus partners. I believe meaningful prevention happens when we design it together. If you’re interested in shaping harm prevention programming, strengthening community care, or engaging in restorative work, I would welcome the chance to connect and explore ways we can collaborate.

In my role at the College, I am proud to advise the C-TIX Student Advisory Board,  the Specialty CARE (Consent Advocacy and Relationship Educators) Proctors and Tutors, and the Restorative Practice Fellows.

More about the College Title IX Office

C-TIX can serve as a starting point for any student who has been impacted in any way - whether directly, indirectly, recently, or in the past. Sexual misconduct includes gender-based harassment (based on actual or perceived sex, sexual orientation, or gender identity), dating violence, domestic violence, and stalking. You do not need to have everything figured out before reaching out. All questions, identities, and experiences are welcome. Speaking with a Title IX Resource Coordinator does not automatically initiate a formal complaint or investigation. Conversations are handled with care and the utmost privacy, and you remain in control of how you would like to move forward. Please visit our website for more information.
