In addition to their regular duties in the entryways, specialty proctors are responsible for providing class-wide programming in one of the following areas: BGLTQ life, CARE (consent advocates and relationship educators), first-generation, interfaith and spirituality, public service, and race relations.

We are here to support all students who may be a part of the BGLTQ+ community or who may have questions on sexual and gender identity, advocacy, and Harvard’s resources. Students should feel comfortable coming to the BGLTQ+ proctors so that we can connect students to relevant resources at Harvard, including student organizations, counseling groups, and the Office of BGLTQ Student Life.

Consent Advocacy and Relationship Educators (CARE)
We aim to promote consent in everyday life and healthy relationships so that all have an equitable experience on campus regardless of gender identity. We hope to serve as a first point of contact for any questions or concerns you may have about sexual assault or gender-based/sexual harassment, whether it involves you, someone you know, or the broader community. No concern or question is ever "silly" or "too small"; we are here to listen and help in whatever way we can. The CARE team has been trained on campus resources and the University-wide Title IX policy. We are committed to ensuring that all students have access to support services on or off campus.
