Valencia Ajeh

Hi everyone, my name is Valencia and this will be my first year serving as a Proctor! I am a second-year Ph.D. student in Earth and Planetary Sciences and I graduated with a B.A. from Washington University in St. Louis in 2024. I am originally from Georgia and my family is Nigerian. My research focuses on using stable isotope geochemistry and paleoclimatology to investigate climate and environmental change in eastern Africa. Outside of academics, I love exercising, watching cartoons, I have a huge sweet tooth, and I am usually always listening to music! I am so excited to meet you all and build our community together :)
