Congratulations and welcome to Harvard! I'm Amanda, and I can't wait to meet you! Originally from the Hudson Valley area of New York, I've been on a wandering path since graduating from SUNY Buffalo, where I studied early childhood development and Spanish. After graduation, I headed to Chile, for what started as a year-long volunteer program, and ended with me living and working there for almost eight years. Throughout, I had the opportunity to work as a bilingual early childhood educator, teach English to high school students, and support Harvard students abroad in Chile (via the David Rockefeller Center for Latin American Studies!). No matter the age, I thrive most when building community with people directly, and I am passionate about bringing a lens of social justice and equity to my work. In 2018, I graduated from the Harvard Graduate School of Education, and I currently manage student programming at Harvard Radcliffe Institute. On an average  day, you can catch me listening to podcasts, talking to my plants, drinking tea, or biking along the Charles at sunset. I am joined on campus by my partner, Vicente, our recently born daughter, and our dog, Pulguita. We look forward to welcoming you to the Harvard community
