Congratulations and welcome to Harvard, Class of 2030! I'm Amanda, and I’m super excited to meet all of you! Originally from the Hudson Valley area of New York, I spent nearly a decade in Chile, where I worked as a bilingual early childhood educator, taught English to high school students, and supported Harvard students abroad in Chile (via the David Rockefeller Center for Latin American Studies!). Here on campus, I am the Head of Student Engagement at Harvard Radcliffe Institute -- your go-to place for interdisciplinary exploration at Harvard! Outside of Proctoring and work, you’ll find me hanging out with my partner, Vicente, our three-year-old daughter, Mila, and our dog, Pulguita (pronounced "pool-ghee-ta," which means “a little flea” in Spanish). We love cooking, going for long walks, dancing, and finding treasures at thrift stores! As a bilingual family, you can catch us speaking English, Spanish, and a ton of Spanglish! Nos vemos!
