Habiba Braimah, Ph.D. is the Senior Director of the Harvard Foundation. In this role, she provides strategic direction for student-led organizations and leads initiatives that foster a vibrant campus culture rooted in community engagement, and a strong sense of belonging. Dr. Braimah’s work centers on creating and sustaining programs, activities, and support systems that reflect the many different needs and interests of Harvard College’s student population. Her leadership includes supervising a dynamic team of professional and student staff, coordinating professional development efforts, and building meaningful partnerships with academic departments, alumni, and community stakeholders. Dr. Braimah holds a B.S. in International Business and Marketing from the State University of New York at Plattsburgh, an M.A. in Higher and Post-secondary Education from Teachers College, Columbia University, and both an M.A. in Social Policy and Sociology and a Ph.D. in Social Policy from Brandeis University. Through her leadership, Dr. Braimah remains steadfast in her commitment to strengthening a university-wide culture of belonging by advancing meaningful dialogue, building bridges across communities, and celebrating the richness of diverse identities and experiences.
