Hi! I’m Nyomi Napier and I am the Graduate Advisor overseeing the First-Year Social Committee for the 2023-2024 academic year. I am a current Harvard Graduate School of Education student seeking my master’s degree in Education Leadership, Organizations, and Entrepreneurship. Prior to enrolling in this program, I completed my undergraduate studies at Saint Joseph’s University in Philadelphia, PA, double majoring in elementary and special education. A New Englander born and raised, I was excited to return to my home state to continue my educational journey and join the Crimson family. My passions include creating equitable learning and social opportunities for students of all ages and backgrounds. Coming from a big family (I have 32 first cousins) where events are staple, I developed a love for event planning and creating spaces that have the ability to build community and facilitate connections. With FYSC I found a team that celebrates my passions and aligns with my most core values. I am extremely excited to work with this amazing committee to bring forth spectacular events for all first-year students this year!
