My name is Sam, and I am so excited to be joining the Yard as a Proctor! I was born and raised in small-town Georgia, where everyone knows everyone else and their business (for better and worse). You will likely hear some southern sayings throughout our time together such as our most operative phrase that all can use: "y'all".  I am currently a master's student at the Divinity School studying nonviolence and spirituality and religion in organizing and social/political movements. I love to cook, eat, hike/bike/adventure generally, be an uncle to my nieces and nephews, use leaves as bookmarks, go to the movies, and dance whenever and wherever.
