Howdy! I'm Tara, and I’m from Albuquerque, New Mexico. I graduated from Scripps College in 2017, where I studied Feminist, Gender, and Sexuality Studies. Learning about critical theory and hosting zine workshops for kids activated my passion for working with adolescents to reimagine schooling. I've since returned to New Mexico and have worked in some pretty special schools around the state—most recently, I lived and worked at an international boarding school. Currently, I'm in the Learning Design, Innovation, and Technology Master's program at the Graduate School of Education, so I'll be a student alongside you! I'm a big fan of carbonated beverages, movie previews, and 1:1 conversations.
