Cultural Rhythms
The Harvard Foundation is thrilled to take on the mantel of the College’s oldest and largest cultural festival at Harvard. In Spring 2026, we will be celebrating the 40th Cultural Rhythms by hosting a series of events that highlight the richness of the cultures represented at Harvard and lead to meaningful intercultural engagement. We aim to uplift students as they share traditions from their own cultures and encourage them to learn about traditions from other cultures.
Since culture can be conveyed in many ways, the Harvard Foundation will host a variety of opportunities for all students to share their cultures with the Harvard community. The third annual Cultural Rhythms Fashion Show will be an opportunity for students to walk the runway and highlight their cultural clothing on March 30th, and the Cultural Rhythms Food Festival (April 3) will be an opportunity for registered student organizations to bring culinary delights for the whole College community. Participants can deepen their appreciation for the multitude of traditions honored within our community through these experiences that encourage learning and connection.
Cultural Rhythms programming culminates in a showcase of student performers who joyfully share their cultures with the wider Harvard community in Sanders Theatre.
The Harvard Foundation is grateful for the partnership of the Office for the Arts at Harvard in the production of this event.
2026 Cultural Rhythms
This year, the showcase will be held on April 4, 2026. Amidst the performances, the Foundation will honor a distinguished public figure who embodies the spirit of the Foundation’s mission with the Cultural Impact Award and will host an onstage conversation with the honoree.
