During Sophomore Orientation for the Class of 2026, you'll learn about campus resources, your new residential community, and connect with peers. We will share the latest updates about Sophomore Orientation on this page as they become available. Members of the Class of 2027 can find Orientation information on the Incoming Student Orientation page.

Schedule

On August 1, we will launch the Sophomore Orientation Canvas website and share the link with you. You will be asked to review and complete action items within the Sophomore Orientation Canvas website prior to your return to campus. 

 Virtual Orientation
Tuesday, August 1–Thursday, August 31 (Canvas)

 Sophomore Move-In Day
Thursday, August 31 (The Houses and Dudley Co-Op)

Sophomore move-in will take place at the end of August. Details about the move-in day schedule and logistics will be posted on the move-in web page as they become available.

Friday, September 1 (Harvard College)

You are invited to join members of the Class of 2026 for in-person Orientation the day after move-in. Later this summer, we will share the in-person Orientation schedule in the weekly newsletter and on the Sophomore Orientation web page

Residential Community Orientation
Saturday, September 2 – Monday, September 4* (The Houses and Dudley)

During Sophomore Orientation activities, the Houses and Dudley will hold events to help you meet each other, connect with staff, and learn about the traditions and perks of your residential community. Residential Community Orientation will include unscheduled blocks of time for unpacking, running errands, and impromptu socializing. 

*The activities and schedule will vary for each House and Dudley. All Residential Community Orientation programming will take place sometime between these dates, however the specific dates will vary by community.

Crimson Connection: A Newsletter for the Class of 2026

The latest issues of the weekly Crimson Connection newsletter will be shared here as they become available. Sophomores will receive the first issue on Tuesday, June 20.  You should review this newsletter each week to get reacquainted with campus resources and learn about the action items you need to complete in advance of Sophomore Orientation and your specific Residential Community Orientation for Sophomores in your House/Dudley.
