As the start of the fall term quickly approaches, we wish to celebrate students new to Harvard College during Convocation. The ceremony marks your official start as members of the Harvard community.
Convocation provides an understanding of the values, history, and traditions of our institution. Convocation will help you develop a sense of belonging and class unity with other new students, with inspirational messages from a current student leader and University officials, including President Gay, Dean Khurana, Dean Claybaugh, and Dean Dunne. The event includes musical performances by members of the Harvard Choruses, Kuumba Singers, the Harvard Band, and other undergraduate musicians.
